Mouse transgenic (TG) team of our center provides various genetically engineered mouse strains by using microinjection or electroporation with different CRISPR technologies for animal model research. We also offer a variety of services including construct design (gRNA and donor DNA) rederivation, IVF, and freezing for transgenic mice.
We aim to play an important role as a core facility in the field of Life Sciences at IBS and beyond.
Microinjection/Electroporation(NEPA21)
Microinjection/Electroporation of foreign DNA into the pronucleus or cytoplasm of fertilized zygotes
Embryo transfer into the oviduct of pseudo-pregnant recipients.
CRISPR technologies
CRISPR-Cas9 Systems (mRNA or RNP) into zygote (cytoplasm or pronuclear)
CRISPR base-editing (point mutation), Prime editing
CRISPR electroporation in Zygotes
SCON system:
We also create conditional knockout(cKO) mice using a novel strategy namely the short conditional intron (SCON)
Design of guide RNA and donor DNA
We also provide whole strategy for design of gRNA and donor DNA about interesting gene
Rederivation/In vitro Fertilization (IVF) service
Cleaning of infected mouse lines by embryo transfer
Import of mouse lines via frozen sperm or embryo samples
Rescue of mouse lines with bad breeders
Line banking
Sperm freezing (5 straws per mouse lines)
Embryo freezing (150-200 embryos in different straws)
